How to get the best out of this blog...

All blogs post are more recent first, if you want to read about Ellie's Journey I'd suggest starting from the first post back in September 2011 (October Posts) and read on Chronologically from there. It will make more sense and you'll get to meet the little girl who gave my life purpose.
Thank You for reading - every new reader shows that she has met another person and in her short life made such an impact. x

Wednesday 8th December

Its not often that I feel the need to hijack Ellie's blog to speak to all of you kind friends and family but today is a different day. Don't panic, Ellie is here, she didn't want to be several times in the night. It is now becoming glaringly obvious that she may not come home one way or another. All her drugs are stepped up to the max and only time will tell when her next fit will be. The nurses are looking into our next options which include the need for 24hr hospice care, to at least get us out of here but that opens up all manner of problems for us logistically. There for friends and family you ask how can you help?
Our first babies, marlee and lilly are our biggest concern, we are looking for some temporary foster parents to look after them should this hospic care be our only option. Ideally to keep them together but understand what a huge imposition this would be for anyone and accept that they may have to stay appart but if anyone thinks this is something they could do for a little time then please let me know. Please understand that We would understand completely if this isn't something people could do and it is not our only option, just our preferred option for the best for our lovely doggies.

  4. They can have a holiday down in devon with us. Max would love to see them again! Obviously we are both at work during the day, but I can often be home by 4ish. We can come up and pick them up if needed, but understand that as we live so far away, you might want them closer so you can still see them.
Give Ellie a hug from us!
    xx
