How to get the best out of this blog...

All blogs post are more recent first, if you want to read about Ellie's Journey I'd suggest starting from the first post back in September 2011 (October Posts) and read on Chronologically from there. It will make more sense and you'll get to meet the little girl who gave my life purpose.
Thank You for reading - every new reader shows that she has met another person and in her short life made such an impact. x

Saturday 15th - Highland Visitors

Scotland is quite a long way away Mummy said, so when my Big Cousins from Scotland came you would expect that I would be on my best behaviour. Not so.
Nicholas, Anna and Katherine all appeared at my cot like little magnets they aaaahed and oooohed and stroked my hands and feet, is this is the life for me now as a famous baby?
They were very considerate and brought fruit and homemade soup and something that looked just a little bit chocolatley. Mummy and Daddy told them stories while I was a good girl and slept but when I woke up for my tea I decided I didn’t like one of those stories and set about spoiling it.
Mummy to Daddy, “She’s looking a bit starey,”….well I was a bit. But then “She’s stopped??!” Cue blowing in my face and rubbing on my chest, then I remembered what I was supposed to be doing and started to breathe again. I suppose it was too good to be true that I had managed a good spell on 6 days without having a wobble. Mummy said she was glad they were watching me because my alarms never sounded, beeps never went off. My big cousins were a bit frozen to the spot I think. Sorry.

It didn’t put them off, well I’m sure Katherine left as she had to catch a train but not before having a cuddle.
Anna and Nicholas treated Mummy and Daddy to a smelly curry and I dozed while they made my room all stinky.  I had a little cuddle with Anna but I think I'm a wee bit heavy after so long so she looked releived to lay me back down to sleep.

Supper anyone?

Eventually Mummy was falling asleep so Daddy escorted them home and Mummy climbed into bed. Then she climbed ut again, then in then ut then in. She kept disappearing all night, and when I was wide awake at 5am Katie Campervan was watching me and talking to me, while Mummy kept leaving the room and coming back again. Eventually Mummy left and didn’t come back and Daddy came instead. Poor Mummy, I think she was very poorly. Poor Daddy, he looked very tired.
