How to get the best out of this blog...

All blogs post are more recent first, if you want to read about Ellie's Journey I'd suggest starting from the first post back in September 2011 (October Posts) and read on Chronologically from there. It will make more sense and you'll get to meet the little girl who gave my life purpose.
Thank You for reading - every new reader shows that she has met another person and in her short life made such an impact. x

  1. Dear Laura and Dan,

Thank you so much for sharing your precious little Angels life with us. You have both showed tremendous courage and stength throughout Ellie's journey. You've done your little girl proud, she'll be the brightest star in the sky watching over you now.

The last little pictures are heartbreaking, to see the pain etched on both your faces. Ellie looks peaceful in them, she looks so serene and contented lying with you both, what a precious girl.

I'll pay my respects up here on Friday, Kian and I will wear something purple in Ellie's honour. I've not been able to take my Ellie necklace off, and my band now I have it. I pray you'll both find the strength, and with the help of your family friends, get through these most difficult times.

Thinking of you both so much right now. xXx

Lots of love Little Miss Ellie. I'll never ever forget you. You've achieved superstar status in your short life. You have captured so many hearts along your journey. Sleep tight sweetness. x x x x x x

    Love from, Jacqueline x x x

  2. For Ellie;
The world may never notice if a snowdrop doesn't bloom,
Or even pause to wonder if the petals fall too soon.

But every life that ever forms or ever comes to be,
Touches the world in some small way for all eternity.

The little one we longed for was swiftly here and gone,
But the love that Ellie planted is a light that will shine on.

And though our arms are empty, our hearts know what to do,
Every beating of our our hearts will say,'We still love you'.

She was so Very Special, and was so from the start,
You held her to you in your arms, but mainly in your heart.

And like a single drop of rain that on still waters fall,
Her life made many ripples that touched the lives of all.

She's gone to play with Angels now, on fluufy clouds above,
So keep your special memories, and treasure them with love.

Although your Darling Daughter was with us just a while,
She'll live forever in our hearts, remembered with a smile.

With love for all eternity. Missing you sweetheart. Grandma. xxxxxxxxxx
